Donald Trump turned heads with a windswept hairstyle during an appearance at his Florida golf club, sparking a social media frenzy.
The president-elect made a “bold statement” at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Tuesday, trading his signature slicked-down blonde toupee for a look described as “hat hair.”
MAGA supporters embraced the change with enthusiasm. Michael Solakiewicz shared a video on X, captioning, “Your next President, President-Elect Donald J Trump, today at the beautiful Trump International Golf Club Palm Beach!!” as reported by Daily Mail.

In the footage, Trump sported a white polo shirt from his own brand, paired with very high-waisted black trousers cinched with a belt. Holding a red MAGA hat, his disheveled hairstyle suggested he’d worn it all morning.
“Hi everybody,” Trump greeted the crowd, prompting cheers and applause. “Is everybody having a good time?” he asked, before jokingly adding, “Is everybody a Republican?” to which the enthusiastic audience responded with a resounding “Yes!”
Social media erupted with reactions to the unconventional look. One user compared Trump to Buzz McCallister from Home Alone, quipping, “Trump got a new haircut, and it’s hilarious.” Another called it “the ultimate hat hair,” while others joked, “Did Elon Musk force him to get that haircut?” and “Make mullets great again.”
Critics were less amused. One remarked, “Trump is 78 years old, and his puffed-up, combed-over hair looks ridiculous—just like his orange skin. Get ready for four horrible years.” Another added, “Honestly, the haircut’s the least of his problems. Maybe if he focused on policies rather than appearances, we’d actually get somewhere.”
Whether this hairstyle is a permanent change or simply the result of a relaxed morning on the golf course remains unclear. The reason behind the crowd gathering at the club that day is also uncertain.
